The yearly foldout calendar stays in my planner for a few years as it carries notes from the months that are deleted from my planner and stored. It's a quick go to as to what went on over the year. It never fails to have info that I need while on the go or at my desk.

We are retired and plan cruises and trips in advance. We need to lay out future commitments before we plan trips. This yearly fold out is perfect in size to accomplish this. We now get one year in advance release, wish they would release two future years at a time so you can have a way to make plans two years in advance. Monarch version is a full notebook page style fold out, large enough for old eyes to use.

I use it to combine my activity scheduling and recording so the combination of work & personal is it's greatest asset. --- The size is good to for travel, desk and meetings. I also use a small pocket sized calendar (the annual free smokey bear pocket planner available from State Forester & USFS) and the old US Dept of Agriculture idea pad form AD-777 with tear out pages. The calendar fits a custom plastic cover to protect from rain and sweat. These work as shirt or vest pocket info gathering tools to be then put into the compact planner when back to the truck or office. Franklin could design and mimic these two items and it would work well for folks who do not want to expose expensive phones or work books to weather, damage or loss.
