I've used this planner for many years very successfully. After stopping for a few years I missed the advantages of the system for keeping everything organized and having a useful record of important events and facts. I was disappointed when I received my Blooms Planner to find that they had replaced the narrow ruled notes page with a wide ruled page leaving less room for recording things. I really hope that they will return to the previous style in future years. With a narrow ruled notes page I would give it 5 stars.

I've loved the compact blooms pages in the past, but really could not use the new format. The spaces between lines are wider and there is less writing space available in each area as well. I just couldn't get used to the new format. I was told that blooms is the only one that they've changed, so I went back to seasons, which is formatted as blooms was in the past, to give me the space I need.

Beautyful. Pages are thick, but Sharpies and gel pens show a little on the other side, Use the Paper Mate thin markers; those work great if you want to use color. I decided to go to a daily planner/2 page per day to keep track of everything - must dos and healthy habits. I like the Monach size, because everything else I work with is letter size; I like the consistency and being able to write bigger/more. I keep mine in a pretty 1" binder, because I found most binders for planners too bulky. I keep 3 months at a time, carrying the entire year would be too much.

Compared to the previous year's design, writing lines are further apart - so I have less lines to write down my to dos, lists, and notes. But maybe that's better for my eyes that are getting older. Perhaps it's better that I am now forced to write less, so I see less, and can focus on most important stuff -- was this change in sizing by design? I wouldn't have a complaint if I didn't have the previous year's design. It's pretty and functional.

Love the new design! I switched to another the past couple of years because I am not a "girly" girl that likes pastels much. But the more subdued tones and the font brought me back. Love the ease is use, the page for notes (compact one-p-p-d) and quick "appointment" and "to do" keeps it in focus.
