I was disappointed by the quality. The stitching is uneven in two places and one of the seams where the piping meets is sloppily glued and lumpy. I immediately notified customer service and they sent me a new, and it had the same defects as the first, which leads me to believe this is standard quality for this product.

I have owned several leather binders since I started using FP in 1990 and I've never really loved any of them. They were usually too stiff out the last one started peeling! I boughtthis one and love it. It's much easier to grab by the spine as it's not so bulky and the outside pocket is perfect for tucking away your phone on the go!

I retired my Classic sized FP when I retired as CFO. I've gone back to the compact version after 5 years of retirement having gotten sick of To Do lists and sticky notes. Two rules: You only write in the planner and use the prioritized task list religiously. Also use the indexing feature to organize meeting notes and find them again. If you don't know what I'm talking about take a FP class!

Love the pocket to carry my phone. Sturdy construction and zipper. Has plenty of pockets, but I supplemented them with some vinyl credit card holders. A great buy.

The inside changes to hold credit card size items was a bad choice. I liked the previous style.

Your entire selection of pocket size items is extremely limited. My previous binder was leather and deteriorated due to the climate in Hawaii. This was the only non-leather binder available in pocket size. I have concern that the pocket size will be discontinued (like the Micro size) and I will have to look elsewhere. The new binder has too many exterior pockets and is too bulky. Simplified would be better. It doesn't lie flat when it is open. At least it isn't peeling like it's predecessor.

I bought this product to keep my work life organized. I like the durable material and attractive look of the planner as well as the storage options. The rings on the inside do not close properly making it difficult to turn pages and to open/close the binder. It is also resulting in the holes in the pages being slowly eaten away.
Overall a very cool binder but I wish more attention had been paid to the quality of the ring mechanism.

Finishing up my second Army deployment and I have been moderately rough on it. Presently it shows normal wear. Compact size fit well in my thigh cargo pocket or assault pack pocket and it went everywhere with me. I now am a staff officer and will be purchasing the classic size for garrison duties IOT keep track of meetings, briefs, projects etc. Extra tabs were a key purchase this deployment.

I really wish the ring size was bigger to hold more months at a time. It makes it difficult to plan for months in advance when it can only hold 3 months. The binder is thick enough to hold much bigger rings.
