The Compass Weekly Planner is as professional looking as it is practical, with classic tan and blue styling and vertical schedule columns and Things to Do sections for each day of the week. Combine that with two-page monthly calendars that incorporate a vertical strip down one side for extra notes, and you've got a planner that enables you to chronicle crucial details while minimizing unnecessary bulk.
One year of two-pages-per-week planner pages
Includes two-page monthly calendar tabs and address/phone pages
I love this weekly planner. It allows me to schedule appointments and actually block periods of time for a more accurate scheduling of my time.
The only unfavorable part if this planner is the monthly overview section. It should be incorporated into the weekly section making the weeks more identifiable per month. As it is currently, it is useless to me so i have paid for something I will never use. If it were incorporated into he weekly section, it would be a supplement and aide for future planning. I know this feature would be more favorable with a ring-binder style. However, with hands that have arthritis and nerve damage, the ring binder is more difficult to handle.
Also, the pencil/pen loop is too large. I have to keep 2 (pen and pencil) in it and still have to watch they do not fall out. (I forgot, this is for the cover, not the inside planner itself.
An additional thought is to have the beck part of the planner (consisting of the Blank Note page, phone numbers, world time map, and Name/address pages) as a supplement that can be saved yearly instead of having to rewrite these pages yearly. Yes, this is easily done with the ring binder style, but it could be a section that is purchasable as needed for the wire-bound styles too. Thank you.

The #37126 Metropolitan design was much better. Clearer daily distinctions, liked the dark lines, dates/times easily seen at a glance. The light tan and blue of the Compass is difficult to see. Do not need the tabs. Also, the Metro. did come in the dates July-June, but now only comes in Jan.- Dec. That is a real draw back. Wire bound is better than ring because the pages do not rip out as easily and when put in a cover/wallet the whole thing is lighter and more flexible.
Comments about Classic Compass Wire-bound Weekly Planner - Jan 2016 - Dec 2016:
In this day of technology, sometimes calendars and planners go by the wayside. But I personally like to have a planner in which I write down appointments, notes, activities, my grocery list, etc . . . I carry it with me wherever I go.
