I've used planners for 20 years, and this is the first one that works with how my week flows. I have a combination of projects that span the week as well as quick tasks to handle. In daily planners I was constantly moving a project forward from day to day. I love how this planner lets me personalize my week by setting my own categories. For the first time I have room for a dedicated section for friends, family and personal goals!

I had used the original Green Dayplanner pages for several years, and had gotten bored with their appearance. At first glance, this seemed like the perfect enhancement, with the colorful borders, so I ordered it to start the new year off. The only printed dates are in the small blocks across the top. I must hand-write each weekday, and date, for each of the (6 - not 7) larger, daily appointment blocks. Before the month of January was up, it had become an irritatingly tedious process. If I want to record something for Sunday (and read it) I must also draw a line down the middle of the last block. This separates it into one half for Saturday, and the other for Sunday. As long as I don't have as much going on for the weekend, it will suffice. But it just adds another layer to the needless, repetitive actions that I must take to render this product useful. Bottom line, I'm not willing to do this for an entire year. The meager investment is far from worth it. So I will be pitching this into the recycling bin as soon as the old stand-by arrives (and I take the time to copy everything over again).
Comments about Compact Textures Ring-bound Weekly Planner Refill - Jan 2014 - Dec 2014:
I hope for more involvement from trained graphic designers. Most people write horizontally, therefore I ordered the best one from that category. Simplify, simplify the designs! The gold border is way too loud, please screen back and minimize. I like the layout otherwise. The day, at least, could repeat on the blank spaces. I'm writing it in, tedious. I'm using the pages on a very expensive cover with huge rings that make it impossible to write much. Please TEST your products for functionality. The quality is superb, I guess that's why I purchase. But looking for better, more practical designs. Thanks.
