The problem I have is the separation of monthly calendar (tabbed) and the appointment section of the planner. It would would be helpful to me if the two were merged together into one calendar. I would like to lift a monthly tab and view the schedule for certain day or week. The way the planning pages are designed, the monthly calendar is tabbed but I have to thumb through the back of the planner and locate the appointment calendar to enter an activity on a specific date.

Stop the ink bleed through problem! BTW customer service has improved immensely and the man who gave me a new product after the last one had the same problem was a Customer Champ.

A lot of people like me use thin Sharpies and color code days, activities, draw graphics, diagrams, use case flows, etc. We buy nice paper to print on at home because we do not like bleed through and neither do our clients or co-workers! Cheap paper is like cheap shoes, really obvious and out of place in business. I have now bought pencils to see if I can have a "clean" page to write on, and will buy colored pencils if that works.

Offer a premium version with decent paper, charge more, whatever, just stop with the wispy cheap-o see through pages.

The Basic design is what I wanted (wire bound feeling less bulky, weekly with appointments through the day, and a running to do list that I can see through the week.) I found some of the nicer designs (attractiveness) in the loose leaf planners that I would have liked to have as an option. Maybe a little color, or a motivational quote each week. Either or both would be a nice touch.

I really only want to buy the refill and not the whole system every year. The cover lasts a long time and I would prefer not to have to purchase it every year. The price keeps going up and it may be a determining factor if I buy it next year if I can't just get he refills.

I'm a stay at home mom with a pretty flexible schedule, but when I do have something happening at a specific time I'll forget about it if I don't have someplace to write it down, so the Metropolitan is perfect for me. Not too much space, but enough that I can write down the few things that I need to.

-Not bulky at all, fits in my purse. (and I'm a small purse kind of girl)
-Full month calendars with a to do list page and index page for each month.
-Two page weeks after that. (Unlined)
-Comes with a bookmark insert marked with a 4 inch ruler. (Which I promptly covered with stickers. Teehee!)
-I use colored tabs to keep track of important pages, and the clear removable sticky notes to keep track of roles and foci for the week.
-Also comes with a "notes" booklet that fits at the front of the cover that came with the planner (if you get the one designated "black").

Things I would change.

-Perforate the pages of the notes booklet. I like to have something to scribble on and hand to someone if I need to give them my info or something. If the pages of the notes booklet were perforated at the spine and again halfway down the page that would be much easier. I got so fed up with the torn jagged pages that I stuck some sticky notes in my planner to replace the booklet, but they don't stay in there very well.

-Bookmark=Daily Compass. I think that's what it was called. When I first got this system (the daily one) it was going under a different name and came with the awesome bookmark that had a flap for a planning sheet that was also provided. It helped me organize my focus for the week with spaces for identifying my roles and what the most important thing I could do in that role was for that week. I really miss this feature.

-Saturday space needs to be big. Right now Monday through Wednesday is on the first page of the week and Thursday through Sunday is on the second page, with Saturday and Sunday taking up half of the space that the other days do. Most planners are like this. While I recognize the logic in this it doesn't work for me. Saturday is often my busiest day, and I wish that as much space was allotted to that day as to the weekdays.

Something that I wish was available in this size.
-My husband works well with a week at a glance lay out but likes the compact size of my planner. (To clarify, he likes the format with the days on two pages lined up from left to right at the top of the page with the hours for each corresponding day below it.) Of course you can't get that combination ANYWHERE. And understandably too, that would be VERY compact. The people at Franklin Covey are smart enough though, that I'm sure they could figure out how to do it, and if they did then we would be their most loyal customers/fans/tell everybody that "they FINALLY DID IT! You should totally switch to THIS system!"
So that's our wish pretty pretty please!

I liked the Compass 1 page per day format better.

Names, Addresses & Phone pages: Do you have this page online so I can type the information rather than having to write it in for each individual (which is many)?

I love this layout - a weekly format with times for appointments AND space for todo's at the bottom. It's very difficult to find that design. BUT I SO WISH it was offered in a more colorful layout. These gray pages depress me!!!
