I love my compact planner and use it as a wallet and planner. The daily pages are just not practical since I need to carry so much more in my planner than just my planner. The pages are perfect and leave enough space for me to record general commitments. I have read other reviews where the author complained about the amount of space per day and my suggestion to those negative reviewers would be to get a larger planner. If you have a compact planner and love it then you will like the textures design.

I ordered the Compact size of these calendar tabs and was extremely disappointed in the quality. The lines on the calendar squares are much too close together to be able to write anything and, on the days when there is more than one pre-printed event (e.g. First Quarter Moon/New Year's Day), part of the lettering is cut off because it doesn't fit on such tiny lines. These are certainly not the Franklin-Covey quality I've come to expect over the years. When I called customer service to see about getting a replacement, I was told that, because I had opened the shrink-wrap packaging, I could not return it. How is one supposed to see what the pages really look like without removing the packaging? (FC closed the only store in my area this spring so I can no longer see pages first-hand before buying.) I was offered free shipping if I purchased another design of calendar tabs at full price. Small consolation but it was something since I really do need next year's calendar tabs. Any size larger than Compact may not share the problems I found but, for Compact users, don't waste your money. Buy a simpler design (Seasons, Monticello, the Original green pages, etc.) if you want to actually use them!
Comments about Classic Textures Ring-bound Two Page Monthly Calendar Tabs - Jan 2014 - Dec 2014:
Last year I ordered the Blooms ring binder monthly refill which I really liked. The background was light, there were more lines per day, the tabs were bright colors. Overall, it was attractive and uncluttered. Unfortunately, it was not available this year. Textures is overall dark and depressing, does not have as many lines, and is not appealing to me. I would not buy this product again or recommend it.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
